We are looking for a talented Presales Manager who has deep knowledge on the IT Security and IT Management field. The person must have strong customer facing skills, that include conducting compelling technical product presentations & demonstrations to convince potential partners and customers on the Technical value & benefits of presented products. The person should have a strong technical background and be able to articulate the solutioning to clients/partners and convince them on the technical value proposition. Must be able to form strong working relationships with corresponding Sales account teams.

The Role

  • Working closely with the local and regional sales team, he/she will be responsible for enabling successful represented product solution sales in Hungary and CEE.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Being responsible for actively driving and managing the pre-sales process with direct and channel customers
  • Primarily engaged in a pre-sales functional consultancy role, the consultant will provide functional and technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements, prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical teams about capabilities, and supporting business sales teams, account managers and partners on proposal activities
  • Attend meetings with potential clients and partners to determine business and technical requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collected prior to producing a solution 
  • Ensuring that the proposed solution can deliver on the customer's requirements
  • Presenting proposals to customers alongside members of the sales team
  • Design and present product recommendations
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, trainings, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Work closely with vendors, partners and customers as well as the professional services and sales teams to design and package security solutions.
  • Understanding customer's business and technical problems
  • Performing customer requirements analysis
  • Demonstrate ability to produce clear, concise and technically accurate responses to product related inquiries (functional and technical) in both written and verbal form
  • Present tailored solutions to satisfy the customer needs
  • Work with Sales Personnel to provide product, business and technical knowledge in support of Pre-Sales activities
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customers, their problems and the solutions with a clear path towards achieving their business and technical objectives
  • Support internal and external customers including Channel Partners
  • Provide content and direction for sales channel training. In some instances, lead development of training
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on the competitive environment (i.e.; messaging, pricing, promotions, positioning, etc...) and take necessary actions
  • Through interface and discussion, capture customer requirements and present the relevant technical solution at customer visits, presentations and other follow up meeting



  • 7-10 years of experience in IT Security and IT Management in technical solutioning and presales + Sales engineering experience
  • Strong experience on Cloud/Microsoft/Identity and Access Management solutions 
  • Experience in migration and consolidation, AD security and compliance, data protection, application security, identity and access management in on-prem/hybrid and cloud-based environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment
  • Business-focused / Result-oriented personality with project management skills
  • Professional communication written and oral in English
